
Wimbledon 2017 Results: Monday Winners, Scores, Stats and Singles Draw Update
Andy Murray and Roger Federer both needed just three sets to book their spots in the quarter-finals of the 2017 Wimbledon tournament on Monday. Gilles Muller and Rafael Nadal stole the show, however, playing out an epic five-setter that saw the former advance in an upset.
Murray beat Benoit Paire, while Federer easily cruised past Grigor Dimitrov. Nadal couldn't follow suit, however, losing 6-3, 6-4, 3-6, 4-6, 15-13.

Federer dropped serve once on Monday but broke back immediately against Dimitrov, and the 35-year-old was otherwise perfect on his way to the quarter-finals.

Paire made life a little tougher on Murray, forcing a tiebreak in the opening set, but the Brit dominated the decider and stormed to the finish line from that point.
Murray was far from perfect and showed the consistency issues that plagued him in previous rounds, but the way he recovered spoke to his mental fortitude. Per bet365, it continued quite the run for the Scot at Wimbledon:
Over on Court 1, Muller and Nadal served up an epic encounter. The Roland Garros champion fell behind in the first two sets before battling his way to a decider, and that final set quickly turned into an instant classic.
While the Luxembourger held the advantage most of the time, Nadal made him earn his upset win the hard way before finally hitting the unforced error that finished their match.
In the women's draw, Williams wasted little time in her win over Ana Konjuh, losing just five games in total, and Halep shifted gears after a close set to beat Victoria Azarenka.
Muguruza recovered from an early deficit to beat Kerber, who continues to struggle for form in 2017.
