Wimbledon 2017 Results: Top Scores, Updated Bracket and Draw Schedule
The second Monday of Wimbledon is always one of the most absorbing days on the sporting calendar, as the best tennis players in the world seek to build momentum as the second week of the Grand Slam gets underway.
After taking Sunday off, expect those involved to be revitalised in pursuit of glory at SW19. And despite doubts about their form ahead of the tournament, the top seeds in the men's and women's brackets—Andy Murray and Angelique Kerber—remain in contention.
Also poised to be involved are the other three members of the "big four" in the men's game—Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. In the women's singles, Simona Halep, Elina Svitolina and Johanna Konta look to be the biggest challengers to Kerber.

Monday Preview
Three matches into the defence of his Wimbledon title, Murray appears to be battle-hardened and will be pleased with how he was able to conjure his best in the crucial moments against Fabio Fognini.

Against Paire, he will need to go up another level. In Round 3, he found it hard to settle into a rhythm, and at one point, the match looked to be heading for a decider. But the top seed dug deep to end it in four and settle the nerves of those on Centre Court.
As noted by Sports Illustrated's Jon Wertheim, Murray has faced some unorthodox opponents in his matches so far and the vibrant Paire will continue that trend:
Excitingly, Nadal, Djokovic and Federer are all looking in wonderful form at SW19, too. The first-named of that trio has been especially authoritative, continuing the sparkling form he showcased to win the French Open.
Having dispatched of Karen Khachanov in Round 3, Nadal has the big-serving Muller up next. Djokovic, meanwhile, will need to be alert against the talented Mannarino.

The standout match of Round 3 is Federer's showdown with Dimitrov, who has impressed plenty with his dynamic play at this tournament. The former was flawless in beating Mischa Zverev in his previous match and is looking in excellent shape to add to his seven Wimbledon wins.
As noted by Eurosport UK, the veteran passed yet another milestone with his victory over Zverev on Saturday:
Like the men's draw, the women's bracket is also wide open at Wimbledon. And Kerber was very nearly sent packing by Shelby Rogers in Round 3.
The German was a set and a break down at one point, having struggled for her best as she has done for much of the year. Yet she showed the heart of a champion to battle through and keep her hopes alive. It meant a lot to her, as we can see courtesy of the tournament's official Twitter account:
Muguruza, a finalist at Wimbledon in 2015, will pose a massive challenge for Kerber in what will potentially be one of the matches of the tournament.

Interest from the home supporters will be on Konta, too, as she looks to be in good enough form to challenge for her maiden Grand Slam title. After an epic battle with Donna Vekic in Round 2, the Briton turned in a classy effort to overcome Maria Sakkari for the loss of just five games.
There's so much quality still left in the women's draw, though, even without Serena Williams and with Karolina Pliskova eliminated. Halep, after coming so close to glory at the French Open, has been fired up at SW19, while her conquerer in the final, Ostapenko, is playing with the kind of fearlessness that saw her shock the tennis world in Paris.
