Monday Recap
After suffering a knock in the buildup to Wimbledon, Murray caused concerns he would suffer stiffness in his opening match, but the British superstar showed why he is the No. 1 seed.
Bublik's huge serving was a feature of the match, and he defended his position with vigour until Murray broke him twice in quick succession to claim a 5-1 lead before collecting the first set.

The 20-year-old was making his debut on grass and immediately dropped his serve at the start of the second, allowing Murray to move smoothly through the gears despite two short rain delays.
The champion won the second set 6-4, leaving the Kazakhstan youngster staring defeat in the face.
Murray continued to be ruthless in the third, breaking his opponent in the first and seventh games to complete a straight-sets victory.
The Brit won 77 per cent on his first serve as he squeezed the prodigy out of the match.
According to the competition's official Twitter account, Murray had kind word for Bublik after the encounter:
Nadal proved he will be a threat at this year's championship as he skipped past Millman.
The Spanish icon won the opening set after breaking the Aussie's serve three times and soon had two sets in the bag after picking up the pace.
Despite a recent lack of grass-court competition, Nadal claimed the win in straight sets as he dominated from the baseline and at the net.

Venus Williams was in fine form as she took care of Mertens' challenge, winning a first-set tiebreaker before completing victory in the final set, 6-4. Williams lost her serve at the start of the set but quickly accelerated to break her opponent twice in response.
Halep is a major threat this year as the diminutive talent defeated Erakovic in straight sets.
The Romanian dropped just five games as she strode into the next round, winning 6-4, 6-1.

Wawrinka's exit late in the day was a huge shock as fans of the Swiss player watched on in disbelief.
Medvedev dominated the encounter as his opponent could only make ground in the second set before capitulating.
Murray and Nadal both appear ready for a charge over the next few days, and the pair will want to progress with ease into the second week of play.
The reigning champion needed a comfortable first match after his hip issue, and Bublik didn't have the experience needed to beat the Brit.
