At WWE Battleground on July 23, you can expect there to be a lot of buildup, but not necessarily a lot of payoff. Battleground is merely the opening act. SummerSlam is the main event. There are four titles on SmackDown, but probably only one (or none) of them will switch. Instead, there will be a lot of drama and character-building in anticipation of what will hopefully be an incredible SummerSlam.

Here are the latest predictions for potential title changes, along with the key reasons.

WWE SmackDown Women's Championship

Will the title change hands? No.

Naomi is a weak champion. She struggled against Lana two weeks ago. That doesn't make a convincing argument in her favor.

And yet, because she is a babyface, there is no real competition for her. Who are the heels on the roster? Tamina, Natalya and Carmella. Tamina and Natalya are not being booked as title contenders. And although Carmella could cash in at Battleground, she probably won't. The reaction would be much better if she cashed in at SummerSlam, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. After all, she is the Princess of Staten Island. And Brooklyn is only a ferry ride away.

Will the title change hands? Yes.

It's not a matter of if. It's a matter of when. The New Day is comprised of some of the most marketable, charismatic stars on the roster, and after its record-breaking run with the tag titles last year, there's no reason why WWE would switch them off The Usos to anyone else.

Jimmy and Jey barely staggered away with the tag titles at Money in the Bank. They won't be so lucky the second time around.

Will the title change hands? No.

SmackDown will hold a Battle Royal to determine Kevin Owens' opponent at Battleground. That, right there, isn't a good foreshadowing for change. Yes, the winner will have gotten the spot on his merits, but it's hardly the makings of a personal feud—the type of feud where a title change means the most and feels the rawest. Even if AJ Styles wins the Independence Day Battle Royal, his initial chances of taking the title from Owens aren't good.

Owens may eventually drop the title to the winner of next week's Battle Royal. But it probably won't be happening at Battleground.

The best part about a Punjabi Prison match is the initial impression of the prison itself. It's all downhill from there, namely because of how difficult it is to see what the heck's going on.

As for the match itself (the third title defense!) between Randy Orton and Jinder Mahal? The result seems all but assured. Jinder is going to retain because this stage is too small for a title change to take place on, especially with SummerSlam on the horizon.

Expect Jinder to retain (possibly cleanly this time) to set up a major title angle at SummerSlam. Does anyone know what "Big Match John" is up to?
