Matt Barnes Out Game 1 vs. Trail Blazers with Ankle Injury
The Golden State Warriors will be without Matt Barnes for Game 1 of their Western Conference playoff series against the Portland Trail Blazers due to an ankle injury.
Connor Letourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle reported Barnes would not be available for Sunday's game.
Barnes signed with the Warriors in March to serve as a depth option after Kevin Durant injured his knee against the Washington Wizards.
In 20 games since returning to Golden State, Barnes averaged 5.7 points and 2.3 assists in 20.5 minutes. He sat out the Warriors' final two regular-season games after injuring his ankle against the New Orleans Pelicans on April 8.
