B/R Kicks Madness 2017: Final Four
We started our inaugural B/R Kicks Madness tournament just two weeks ago with 64 of the best kicks to be released this year. Now there are only four.
Up until this point, all of the decisions were made by our staff, but we had to switch things up for the Final Four and put the power in the hands of the fans. We helped pick representatives from each region—it'll be up to the public to decide which sneaker deserves to win the whole tournament.
Was there an upset? Find out who made it into the championship game below.

Adidas Ultra Boost "Triple Black" vs. Nike Air Presto x Acronym
Pitting two elite runners against each other is what this year's B/R Kicks tournament is all about. Choosing a winner between the Adidas Ultra Boost "Triple Black" and Nike Air Presto x Acronym apparently had less to do with impact on sneaker culture and more to do with a simple, clean aesthetic.
Judging by the voting, this wasn't just a buzzer-beater upset, this was a shocking blowout from the start. The Nike Air Presto x Acronym has been lauded by everyone in the industry, but all those kudos couldn't help it when it came to the Final Four. In the biggest upset of the tourney, Adidas' best effort from 2016 was able to ride its popular black silhouette into the championship round.
From its fluid design to catapulting Nike back onto the scene in terms of "rare" runners, the Air Presto x Acronym defied logic in 2016. But this is Kicks Madness—upsets happen, and the Adidas Ultra Boost "Triple Black" is headed to the championship game.
Air Jordan 1 "Bred" vs. Kith x Asics "Salmon Toe"
A Kith collaboration with Asics waging war against the Air Jordan 1 "Bred." It doesn't get much better than this.
With all due respect to Ronnie Fieg and the Kith crew, there's no stopping the Air Jordan 1 "Bred." The iconic, unforgettable Jordan heirloom continues to showcase its legacy and sell out nearly 32 years later.
Subtracting the Air Jordan 1 from history alters the very core of footwear. In a battle between the Asics "Salmon Toe"—a fantastic shoe in its own right—there's little it could have done to stop the "Bred" 1.
Up next, it's the Adidas Ultra Boost "Triple Black" vs. the Air Jordan 1 "Bred" in Bleacher Report Kicks' first-ever Kicks Madness championship. Who will raise the trophy? Find out next week.
