West Virginia's Esa Ahmad Throws Down Dunk After Nathan Adrian Saves Loose Ball

West Virginia's stifling defense forced 13 turnovers during Saturday's 83-71 round-of-32 victory over Notre Dame. One of the Mountaineers' six steals featured a team effort that culminated in a forceful dunk.

Running a full-court press, they trapped Fighting Irish guard Matt Farrell in the corner. After deflecting an attempted pass, West Virginia forward Nathan Adrian dived to get the ball in the Mountaineers' possession.

Guard Daxter Miles Jr. secured Adrian's steal and found a sprinting Esa Ahmad, who punctuated the sequence with a one-handed jam.

West Virginia advanced to the Sweet 16, where it will face either Gonzaga or Northwestern.
