What are the odds the first round of the tournament would go almost entirely chalk? The blue bloods continued their reign of dominance Friday by taking down each of their respected opponents.

Nobody was going to put head coach Tom Izzo in a corner come tourney time! The Michigan State Spartans proved they're here to make noise in the 2017 NCAA tournament, while John Beilein's Michigan Wolverines stayed hot.

The Cinderellas didn't pan out so well this year, but what may have been worse? The bad luck of No. 6.

Three of the four sixth seeds took an "L."

With so many dominant teams left, the second round has so much more to offer, and you can find it here on Bleacher Report.
