West Virginia's Elijah Macon Gets Hit in Face by Basketball vs. Bucknell

During his team's first-round NCAA tournament matchup Thursday, West Virginia's Elijah Macon suffered a moment far more painful than watching a March Madness sleeper get ousted.

In order to keep the ball in bounds, Bucknell's Avi Toomer heaved it back in play. It spiked Macon right in the face.

Adding insult to injury, the ploy preserved possession for the Bison.

The junior forward returned from the unfortunate incident, but he went into halftime with zero points.
