Missouri Stuns Auburn as Kevin Puryear Drains Buzzer-Beater 3

The Missouri Tigers tied the Auburn Tigers at 78 with under three seconds remaining in regulation to send Wednesday's SEC tournament game at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, into overtime, but Mizzou saved its absolute best for the final shot of the contest.    

With the game tied at 83 and roughly three seconds to play in overtime, guard Cullen VanLeer found an open Kevin Puryear at the top of the key.

Puryear's uncontested three circled into the basket as time expired, and Missouri's 86-83 victory was eventually confirmed via video replay.

The Tigers only improved to 8-23 overall, but they will play at least one more game before their 2016-17 season comes to an end.
