Wednesday Recap
TCU 82, Oklahoma 63

Scoring wasn't a problem for TCU, as the Horned Frogs cruised to an 82-63 victory. It was quite a turnaround from four days ago, when TCU lost to the Sooners on the road.
Four Horned Frogs starters finished with double figures in points. Vladimir Brodziansky led the team with 20 points, while Kenrich Williams was right behind him with 19. Williams also grabbed 11 boards for the double-double. Alex Robinson narrowly missed out on a double-double himself, scoring 17 points and dishing out nine assists.
As a team, TCU shot 60 percent from the field and 44.4 percent from beyond the arc. It will likely need to repeat that performance against the top-seeded Jayhawks in order to earn a berth in the semifinals.
Texas 61, Texas Tech 52

Texas closed on a 30-10 run in the final 10 minutes, 12 seconds of the game to pull out a 61-52 win over Texas Tech.
Chip Brown of HornsDigest.com noted the result allowed Texas to avoid making the wrong kind of history:
Scoring was at a premium in the first half, with the Red Raiders holding on to a 26-20 halftime lead. The Longhorns found their shooting stroke in the second half, though, and they benefited from getting to the line 20 times over the course of the game.
Andrew Jones didn't have an efficient night, shooting 4-of-11 from the field and 1-of-6 from beyond the arc. He was the game's leading scorer, though, with 15 points. Kerwin Roach Jr. and Jarrett Allen chipped in with 13 and 10 points, respectively.
Note: A tournament bracket is available on the Big 12's official website.
