Auburn Student Hits Granny-Style Shot from Half Court to Win $5K Scholarship

Auburn junior Ben Bode is a sniper.

During halftime of the Tigers' 79-68 loss to the Arkansas Razorbacks on Saturday night, the student was tasked with making a layup, free throw, three-pointer and half-court shot in a span of 24 seconds to win $5,000 toward his tuition.

Bode went 4-of-4. And from midcourt, he shot granny-style.

After the ball splashed through the net, Tigers fans went wild while Bode trotted around the court. Then, he snapped a picture with head football coach Gus Malzahn:
