Jefferson recorded his fifth double-double of the young season with 24 points and 14 rebounds.
The Gators tried to keep pace with the well-rounded Blue Devils, but they kept handing Kennard open looks throughout the second half.
Duke added another element to the offense in the second half, as freshman Jayson Tatum heated up to score 16 points in the closing stanza. Tatum ended with 22 points in his second game of the year.
Florida got within seven points in the final two minutes of the second half, but a few costly turnovers ended the Gators' comeback hopes.
The big nights from Jefferson, Kennard and Tatum marked the first time since January 20, 2001 that three Duke players scored over 22 points in a game, per ESPN Stats and Info.
Three Florida players scored in double digits, including KeVaughn Allen with 19 points.
