John Calipari Can't Evade Question from 'Sports Illustrated Kids' Reporter

Most head coaches have perfected the art of dodging reporter inquiries. One young journalist, however, refused to let John Calipari off the hook.

A Sports Illustrated Kids correspondent asked the Kentucky head coach how Malik Monk compares to other Wildcats freshmen. Rather than responding, Calipari asked for his opinion on how the guard stacks up against the likes of John Wall, Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins, among others.

After playing along, the young newsman turned the tables back on Calipari by reiterating his original question.

Realizing the persistent reporter would not relent, the coach answered by praising Monk's athleticism and expressing his efforts to slow the newcomer's mind down so he can see the game better.

Professional scribes can take a lesson from his determination.
