Buffalo Bills at Cincinnati Bengals

Sunday's game between the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals could be a sneaky-good affair. Both teams have had their fair share of missteps this season, but both are still technically in their respective division races.

If the 3-4-1 Bengals can manage to win on Monday night against the New York Giants, they'll be a step closer to catching the 5-4 Baltimore Ravens in the AFC North. The 4-5 Bills will be coming off their bye and looking to make a move on the 7-2 New England Patriots in the AFC East.

The Ravens will probably be easier to catch than the Patriots, but the Bills do have a shot—and a chance of pushing for a wild-card spot. A loss to Cincinnati, though, would put a significant damper on Buffalo's playoff hopes.

This makes Buffalo a dangerous team—one that might feel it has something to prove. The team's controversial Week 9 loss to the Seahawks likely left a bad taste in the Bills' collective mouths, but the team remains optimistic.

"Our guys, we want it in the worst way and not just for ourselves either," Bills head coach Rex Ryan said, per Nick Veronica of the Buffalo News. "We understand how our fanbase wants this thing—almost as bad as we do—and we get that. So we understand the responsibility."

The Bills will have a chance to take a significant step forward against Cincinnati's inconsistent defense. The Bengals are currently rated 27th in overall defense by Pro Football Focus and are allowing an average of 378.5 yards per game (24th in the NFL).

Cincinnati has been better on the offensive side of the football, but it has struggled in the red zone. This is why the Bengals average just 20.9 points per game despite ranking sixth in total yardage (395.4 yards per game).

If the Bengals manage to pull out a win, it should be close.

Miami Dolphins at Los Angeles Rams

The Miami Dolphins are also looking to gain ground in the AFC East or potentially push for a wild-card berth. Miami also happens to be one of the hottest teams in the entire NFL, having won four games in a row.

Miami's recent success has come largely on the legs of second-year running back Jay Ajayi. The Boise State product has amassed 725 yards and six touchdowns on just 127 carries this season.

In Week 11, the Dolphins will travel to battle the Los Angeles Rams. This is a tough matchup that could have playoff implications for both teams—yes, the 4-5 Rams are still alive in the NFC West. The question for Miami is whether Ajayi can excel against L.A.'s stout defense.

Pro Football Focus rates the Rams third in overall defense and seventh in run defense. Only two players have rushed for at least 100 yards against Los Angeles this season, per Connor Hughes of NJ Advance Media:

If Ajayi cannot control the ground against L.A., the game will rest on the throwing arm of Ryan Tannehill. This could cause the Dolphins to move away from a winning formula.

of the Miami Herald noted last week that the Dolphins lose roughly 75 percent of the time when Tannehill attempts more than 35 passes.

The Rams have their own issues at quarterback with journeyman Case Keenum under center. Keenum has just nine touchdown passes and 11 interceptions and holds a passer rating of 76.8.

There's a chance that the Rams turn to rookie Jared Goff in Week 11, though head coach Jeff Fisher seems fine with what the team is getting out of Keenum.

"I'm not going to go into a quarterback situation," Fisher said when asked about a quarterback change, per Alden Gonzalez of ESPN.com. "I don't believe it's quarterback play. I think it's collectively we're making mistakes."

We'll give Los Angeles a slight edge due to its defense and home-field advantage, but the quarterback situation there will be worth watching throughout the week.

New England Patriots at San Francisco 49ers

Week 11's matchup between the Patriots and the San Francisco 49ers could be a surprisingly intriguing one. It will, after all, be interesting to see how the Patriots respond to their first loss of the season with Tom Brady under center.

We're guessing that Brady and Co. come out swinging and looking to essentially embarrass the 49ers on the road. They should have a good chance of doing exactly that, seeing as how the 49ers defense has been a bit of a mess throughout the season.

As a team, San Francisco is allowing an average of 31.4 points and 429.7 yards per game, both most in the NFL. The 49ers are rated 29th in overall defense by Pro Football Focus.

This is likely why the 49ers are being spotted two touchdowns in this contest. If San Francisco possessed a consistently effective offense, it might have a good chance of winning against the line. Unfortunately, the 49ers are averaging just 20.8 points per game and are rated dead last in overall offense by Pro Football Focus.

As long as New England keeps its foot on the gas against the 49ers, it should have every opportunity to win by multiple scores.
