Kentucky Wildcats Blow Out Asbury Eagles by 93 Points in Exhibition Game
If you saw that the preseason No. 2 Kentucky Wildcats had an exhibition game against Asbury University (a small school in Kentucky), you would have asked yourself not if the Wildcats would win but by how much.
As it turns out, by a lot...and then some.
On Sunday, Kentucky absolutely obliterated its in-state opponent 156-63. While that 93-point margin is staggering, just know that it could have been much, much worse. This was a game in which Kentucky had 88 points at the half:
The game was so out of hand in the second half that there was a triple-digit difference on the scoreboard:
In other words, it was somewhat impressive the Eagles lost by only 93.
By the end of the night, Kentucky had set a school record with its incredible point total:

As you might imagine, a blowout like this was filled with highlights for the victors:
The Wildcats will tip off their season Friday. While they probably won't duplicate this ridiculous performance, they could find themselves on the smiling side of some big-time blowouts this season.
