WWE SmackDown: Live Results, Reaction and Analysis for October 25

Welcome to Bleacher Report's live coverage of the October 25 episode of SmackDown.

This week's show has major competition. The first game of the World Series will also take place Tuesday, and with this being the first time the Chicago Cubs have made it to the World Series since 1945, fans will be tuning in who might normally be watching SmackDown.

When WWE has stiff competition, there are two ways the company can go. It can either stack the card in hopes of luring viewers in, or it can accept the show will have low ratings and stick to the usual game plan.

After looking at the preview for Tuesday's show on WWE.com, it looks like WWE has gone with a standard lineup. However, we do have the return of Becky Lynch to look forward to, so that's something.

Can Dean Ambrose defeat AJ Styles to earn a WWE title shot?

What will Lynch do on her first night back with the roster?

Will Jack Swagger seek revenge against Baron Corbin?

Who else will join the SmackDown Survivor Series teams?

And lastly, will James Ellsworth continue making appearances with WWE?
