WWE Raw: Live Results, Reaction and Analysis for October 17

Welcome to Bleacher Report's live coverage of the October 17 episode of Raw.

According to WWE.com, Goldberg will appear to answer Paul Heyman's challenge to fight Brock Lesnar, marking the first time he has set foot in a WWE ring in 13 years.

Both men were prominent in advertising for WWE 2K17, and since their last encounter at WrestleMania 20 was considered a flop by many, it seemed likely they would cross paths at some point.

With Goldberg being away from the ring for so long, and Lesnar using a more limited moveset in recent years, it's going to be interesting to see how their fight is booked.

On top of the former WCW champion appearing, Monday's show will feature more buildup as we head toward Hell in a Cell.

Will Mick Foley and Stephanie McMahon accept SmackDown's Survivor Series challenge?

Can Cesaro and Sheamus get on the same page before they challenge The New Day for the tag titles?
