WWE Appears to Mock CM Punk's UFC Loss During Match at Backlash

CM Punk may have made the switch from WWE to the UFC, but the former promotion certainly hasn't forgotten about him.

At least that's how it appears in the clip above from Sunday's Backlash pay-per-view.

The 37-year-old Punk made his UFC debut Saturday—and it didn't go well. He left the Octagon with a loss, as WWE surely noticed.

When The Miz and Dolph Ziggler stepped into the ring Sunday, the beginning of their match seemed oddly similar to Punk's fight the night before.

Whether it was a tribute or a shot at Punk is not for us to say. But it's important to note that Punk and Vince McMahon aren't on the best of terms right now.
