White Sox RF Adam Eaton Attempts to Avoid Tag by Jumping over Astros Catcher
Chicago White Sox right fielder Adam Eaton may not have gotten to home plate safely on this play, but you have to admire the athleticism and determination he showed.
With Eaton on second with two outs in the top of the third inning, White Sox second baseman Brett Lawrie ripped a ball past Houston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa into left field.
It appeared the speedy Eaton would score, but he got tripped up as he tried to round third, leading to a play at the plate.

The throw from Astros left fielder Jake Marisnick beat Eaton by a wide margin, so he had to get creative. As a result, the Chicago outfielder did his best Willie Mays Hayes impression.

Unfortunately for the White Sox, Eaton couldn't avoid Astros catcher Evan Gattis' tag. But it was a spectacular effort nonetheless.
