Germain Ifedi Has the Best Reaction to Being Drafted by the Seattle Seahawks
Germain Ifedi was stoked about being drafted, to say the least.
The Seattle Seahawks traded down from No. 26 to No. 31 and took the Texas A&M offensive lineman with the final pick of the NFL draft's first round Thursday night.
Ifedi's reaction was euphoric, a nice departure from the reserved happiness a lot of first-round picks display.
Courtesy of Seahawks owner Paul Allen, you can watch how the team's end of the call went down, too. Here's a video of general manager John Schneider giving Ifedi the good news:
In a hilariously humble quote, Ifedi said, "It was a long wait, 30 picks, and if you get that call, you don't know who it's from. It could be a bill collector. You don't know. You don't know who's calling you," per Sheil Kapadia of ESPN.com.
A bill collector. Classic.
