Under Armour and Madison Square Garden Team Up for 'Reunion' Doubleheader

Starting in the 2016-17 season, the Mecca of Basketball will be home to college hoops spotlight games.

Many college basketball fans look forward to early-season showcases such as the NIT Season Tip-Off, the Maui Invitational, the ACC-Big Ten Challenge, etc. Now, there will be one more distinct slate of games to tune in to.

Under Armour has created the Under Armour "Reunion" that will feature intriguing doubleheaders at Madison Square Garden each December.

Here's the inaugural "Reunion" slate to be played Monday, Dec. 12:

• Seton Hall vs. South Carolina
• Auburn vs. Boston College

The spotlight games will feature programs that sport the company's uniforms. Because it will be like a family affair in a sense, "Fight Like Family" will be the official slogan of the doubleheader. Along with a slogan, Under Armour has unveiled a logo for the Reunion:

The Reunion has the potential to blossom into something special. Under Armour has top programs such as Maryland, Notre Dame and Utah as part of its brand. If those programs stay among the nation's best and participate in the event in the future, this showcase could become one of the top events the sport has to offer.
