Highlights, Stats for Top Prospects

Josh Jackson, Undecided

Josh Jackson has a little bit of everything for everyone.

The No. 1 recruit in 247Sports' composite rankings, Jackson provides plenty of intrigue this week because he has yet to decide where he'll play college ball. It doesn't sound like the decision is on the way just yet, but it makes for an interesting time as recruiters and prospects around him try to convince him on where to go.

Jackson comes in at 6'7" and 195 pounds. While a tad light, he's an elite on-ball defender. Folks would rather hear about his play on the offensive end of the court, of course.

There, Jackson can play almost any spot on court and shoot from most anywhere, too. According to USAB.com, in the U17 contests, he managed 74 points, 20 assists, six blocks and nine steals over just seven games.

A recent highlight reel shows it all:

Expect plenty of wow-worthy dunks from the Michigan native, too, as All American Games captured:

There's little doubt Jackson has the talent to steal the show in Chicago Wednesday.

The main attraction with so many programs' futures swinging in the balance, expect Jackson to craft yet another highlight reel.

Malik Monk, Kentucky

The fifth prospect in 247Sports' rankings, Malik Monk has made a decision and Kentucky faithful will want to tune in for the show Wednesday.

Monk comes in at 6'3" and 185 pounds, lean, but a next-level distributor who can stuff the stat sheet from anywhere on the court—his winning the McDonald's All American Game three-point contest says this well enough.

So do a brief sampling of stats. The Kentucky commit appeared in four games during the 2015 NIKE Global Challenge and averaged 21.8 points, 7.2 rebounds and 6.0 assists, according to RealGM.com. Heck, as a freshman in high school he managed averages of 22 points, five rebounds and three assists.

Monk almost took home the dunk contest, too, as TheLead captured one of his notable highlights:

The usual highlight reel offers a bit of everything, too:

Few can fill up the stat sheet the way Monk can, making him one of the top prospects to watch Wednesday.

De'Aaron Fox, Kentucky

The idea the rich get richer certainly applies Wednesday, as Kentucky faithful not only get to watch Monk put on a clinic but commit De'Aaron Fox as well.

Also 6'3" and 185 pounds, it's clear Kentucky has quite the potent duo on its hands. Fox ranks fourth on 247Sports' list, with his breakdown providing a deep dive into his epic numbers:

2015-1623.86.13.51.52.7
2014-15 22.4 7.4 4.2 1.5 2.5

So no, Fox doesn't have any problems getting teammates involved and pouring it on himself when necessary.

Monk hasn't been shy talking up his new backcourt partner, either, especially when challenged this week in the trash-talking department by commits of other programs.

“Ohhhhhh,” Monk said, according to Kyle Tucker of the Courier-Journal (via USA Today). “How? We’re the fastest guards in the country, the best guards in the country. The best playmakers, the best scorers. So I think we’re going to have the best.”

Rest assured the two will put on shows Wednesday night. While teammates, observers can expect a bit of a friendly competition between the two as well.

Unlike many friendly competitions, it's not something to miss.
