Martin Active vs. Thunder

Saturday, April 30

Martin came off the Spurs bench Saturday in Game 1 against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Martin a Capable Veteran Option for Spurs

The Spurs signed Martin after he reached a buyout agreement with the Minnesota Timberwolves in early March. He's given an already-loaded San Antonio roster another potent offensive threat off the bench, thanks to his three-point shooting ability.

He missed time earlier in the campaign while working through a lingering wrist problem. The 33-year-old guard also sat out for an extended period during the 2014-15 campaign after undergoing wrist surgery.

Martin can be a valuable piece and provide a spark off the bench for the Spurs in the postseason.
