North Carolina vs. Indiana: Live Score, Highlights and Reaction for Sweet 16

No. 1 North Carolina became the fourth top seed and fourth team out of the ACC to reach the Elite Eight with a 101-86 thumping of No. 5 Indiana on Friday night in Philadelphia.

The Tar Heels (31-6) seem to have hit their stride at the right time. 

Marcus Paige led all scorers with 21 points and set the tone early by connecting on his first four three-point shots of the night to stake his team to an early lead. 

North Carolina connected on 7-of-8 threes in the first half and finished the game shooting 55 percent from behind long range. 

Brice Johnson also added 20 points and 10 rebounds for the Tar Heels, who advance to face No. 6 Notre Dame in Sunday night's Regional Final.

The Irish defeated North Carolina at South Bend during the regular season but were run off the court in a 31-point blowout in the ACC semifinal. 

Indiana (27-8) trailed by double digits for most of the game, several times getting within 10 points but no closer in the second half. 

Yogi Ferrell led the Hoosiers with 25 points in the final game of his college career.
