The NCAA Tournament will have a new champion this year, after the defending champion Duke Blue Devils fell 82-68 to the West Region's top-seeded Oregon Ducks on Thursday night in Anaheim.
Dillon Brooks led the way for the Ducks with 22 points on 9-of-19 shooting, while four other teammates finished in double figures. Oregon also held Duke to 44.1 percent shooting overall. Freshman Brandon Ingram finished with 24 points for the Blue Devils while Luke Kennard's 13 points and 11 rebounds earned him his first career double-double.
As the lone representative still remaining from the Pac-12, Oregon will face No. 2 Oklahoma in the Elite Eight game on Saturday, while Duke's 2016 season is over.
