| Sunday, Mar. 20 | 12 p.m. | Florida | Ohio State |
| Sunday, Mar. 20 | 7:30 p.m. | Georgia | Saint Mary's |
| Monday, Mar. 21 | 7 p.m. | George Washington | Monmouth |
| Monday, Mar. 21 | 9 p.m. | Georgia Tech | South Carolina |

The Blue Jays made easy work of Wagner after the lower seed shocked No. 1 St. Bonaventure in the first round of play. The Blue Jays used their superior size down low to wear Wagner down and open up their offense, with center Geoffrey Groselle the main beneficiary of the advantage.
Groselle put up 18 points on 7-of-7 shooting from the field, and the team got an additional 14 points off the bench from forward Zach Hanson.
Creighton's dominance inside helped it post a 56 percent shooting mark from the floor, while Wagner, who couldn't find a way to penetrate the Blue Jays defense, shot just 27.9 percent.
With that kind of domination, especially on the inside, Creighton will be a tough team to stop in the NIT. Its next challenge, though, will be a BYU team that's ranked eighth in the nation with 83.6 points per game.
