The No. 8 North Carolina Tar Heels clinched the ACC regular-season title on Saturday night with a win over the No. 17 Duke Blue Devils at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
The victory handed North Carolina's seniors their first win at Cameron Indoor Stadium. The Tar Heels also ended Duke's four-game winning streak in the rivalry.

North Carolina commanded the paint for all 40 minutes, but it never pulled away for a substantial period of time. The Tar Heels went into the locker room with an eight-point advantage, but it could have been more since Brandon Ingram was on the Duke bench with two fouls for most of the first half.
Duke pulled back into the contest in the second half thanks to a barrage of three-pointers led by Luke Kennard and Grayson Allen. Duke finished 13-of-33 from beyond the arc.
North Carolina had plenty of chances to pull away late as it outrebounded Duke by 34. Brice Johnson pulled down 21 rebounds of his own, 12 of which were on the offensive end of the court.
The Tar Heels finally secured the victory in the final two minutes as they hit their final 10 shots from the foul line.
North Carolina was led by Johnson's 18 points and 21 rebounds. Four different Tar Heels also scored in double figures. Allen led Duke with 29 points.
