A late surge by the No. 25 Texas Longhorns resulted in a huge 76-63 upset win over the No. 3 Oklahoma Sooners at the Frank Erwin Center on Saturday.
After trailing for most of the game, the Longhorns went on a 22-0 run late in the second half to snatch the win from the favored Sooners, who were fueled by a 33-point performance from Buddy Hield.
Texas finished the game with five players in double figures. Isaiah Taylor led the way with 18 points, while only Jordan Woodard joined Hield in double figures for Oklahoma. Woodard tallied 15 points on 5-of-13 shooting.
