Sin Cara Injury Update: WWE Superstar Returns at Live Event
After more than a month on the shelf, Sin Cara returned to action at Saturday night's WWE live event in San Jose, California.
Following a victory over Los Matadores along with Lucha Dragons tag team partner Kalisto, Sin Cara posted this photo and message on Instagram:
Sin Cara suffered a dislocated shoulder during a match against Big E on the Dec. 28 edition of Raw, and he updated the WWE Universe on his status afterward:

While it appears as though the masked luchador is ready to return to television, his situation has been complicated since getting injured, as Kalisto is now United States champion.
The diminutive high-flyer traded the title with Alberto Del Rio before defeating him at Royal Rumble. He is scheduled to defend the strap once again at Fastlane, and every indication is that he is now primarily a singles wrestler.
Sin Cara is currently portrayed by 38-year-old Jorge Arias, who previously wrestled in WWE under the name Hunico. He took on the Sin Cara gimmick in 2013 when original Sin Cara Luis Urive left WWE to return to Mexico.
Arias began to team up with Kalisto in NXT in 2014, and the duo defeated The Ascension for the NXT Tag Team Championships at NXT TakeOver: Fatal 4-Way to end the longest reign in the history of those titles.
The Lucha Dragons have been part of the main roster on a full-time basis for nearly a year, but their time as a team may be reaching its conclusion.
The 29-year-old Kalisto has all the makings of the next Rey Mysterio, and while the Lucha Dragons added solid depth to the tag division, there is likely more value in Kalisto continuing on his own.
That could push Sin Cara down the card and into a singles enhancement role, but masked characters are often given opportunities in WWE due to merchandising possibilities, so perhaps he still has a chance to remain relevant on the main roster.
