Kentucky vs. Kansas: Live Score, Highlights and Reaction

Carol SchramJan 30, 2016

It took 65 minutes, but fourth-ranked Kansas prevailed over No. 20 Kentucky by a score of 90-84 to extend the Jayhawks' home winning streak to 35 games in the marquee game of the Big 12/SEC Challenge.

Wayne Selden Jr. led the way for the Wildcats with a career-best 33 points, including seven points in overtime. Three other Jayhawks hit double figures—Frank Mason III with 13 points, Devonte' Graham with 11 and Perry Ellis with 10.

At the other end of the court, John Calipari's Wildcats were led by 26 points from star point guard Tyler Ulis. Jamal Murray had 15, Alex Poythress added 13 and Isaiah Briscoe added 12, but Briscoe's troubles at the free-throw line continued. After starting the game 4-of-4, he finished 6-of-12 on the night from the charity stripe.
