John Calipari Openly Tells Fan Kentucky Will 'Probably' Take an L vs. Kansas
It's not everyday you see a head coach admit he doesn't have faith in his team before a game, but sometimes, he just wants to tell it how it is.
On Saturday night, the No. 20 Kentucky Wildcats (16-4) will go into Allen Fieldhouse and take on the fourth-ranked Kansas Jayhawks (16-4). Although Kentucky coach John Calipari always expects good results from his team, he also realizes the Wildcats are going to play at one of the toughest venues in college basketball.
Calipari was approached by a Kansas fan Friday night, and when asked if he was "ready to take that L tomorrow," he said—on camera—that his team would "probably" lose.

Perhaps he doesn't want to get Kentucky fans' hopes up. Perhaps he was just humoring the Jayhawks fan.
While the general public can't fault Calipari for keeping it real, Big Blue Nation isn't going to like this. Let's just hope his pregame speech to the squad doesn't include, "You guys are probably going to lose."
