Referee Puts an Interesting Twist on Foul Call in College Basketball Game

This is what one might call innovation.

One referee officiating the Hartford Hawks women's basketball team's 65-57 win over the UMBC Retrievers on Thursday night turned what would have been a forgettable foul call into, well, a pretty memorable one.

While we cannot determine what exactly the move the ref whipped up is called, we can say this much: It needs to be added to officials' cues.
