"How is your recovery from shoulder surgery going and when do you plan to return?
My recovery is going really well, so I hope to be back soon, but I do not know when exactly, I have to wait for the doctor.
"
Cesaro underwent surgery on his torn left rotator cuff on Nov. 23 and was given a timeline of four to six months before he made his return. We're coming up on the third month of his rehab, so if all goes well, Cesaro could make a return before WrestleMania 32 on April 3.
The Swiss Superstar was gaining some momentum a month before suffering the shoulder injury. He put on a dominant display at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view in a six-man tag match, winning the match with Neville and Dolph Ziggler against Sheamus, Rusev and King Barrett.
Cesaro would be a welcome addition to a WWE roster with many injuries to its top stars, including John Cena and Randy Orton. But it would not be wise for him to rush—or be rushed—back into the ring. Most of Cesaro's offense involves using his strength, including his Neutralizer finisher and Giant Swing. Even the slightest pain in his arm while performing those moves could cause a re-injury.
