Packers WR Jordy Nelson Stepped Up to Be a Substitute Teacher at Son's School
When healthy, Green Bay Packers wideout Jordy Nelson is a consistent playmaker on the football field. It turns out, he can also come through in the clutch off the field.
Nelson missed the entire 2015-16 NFL season after tearing his right ACL during a preseason game, but when his son's school needed a substitute teacher because one of its teachers was undergoing cancer treatment, the 30-year-old Packers receiver stepped up to fill in.
Mr. Nelson saw this as an opportunity to give back—but he soon learned that his students would end up impacting him.

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer also put together a video with Dove Men+Care. The three-time Pro Bowler may not have filled in as a substitute teacher like Mr. Nelson, but he did teach his kids an important lesson about giving back.
