College Basketball Team Forces Overtime with Wild Last-Second Shot, Wins in OT
Kyle NewportJan 14, 2016
Down two points to the Oswego State Lakers with 1.7 seconds remaining on the clock in regulation, the Brockport Golden Eagles (a Division III college in New York) needed to find a way to either win the game or at least force overtime.
The coaching staff didn't care how the job got done—all that mattered was the result.
Not only did the inbounds pass go the length of the court, but it hit the rim. Crazily, after it bounced off both the Golden Eagles' rim and backboard, Brockport's Hamed Shamseldin grabbed the rebound and put up a shot.
