Kentucky vs. LSU: Live Score, Highlights and Reaction
The LSU Tigers announced Tuesday that they're looking for a berth in the NCAA tournament after a dominant 85-67 win over No. 9 Kentucky.
The spotlight was on Tigers freshman Ben Simmons, who's projected to go first overall in the NBA draft, but LSU's win was a team effort from buzzer to buzzer.
Early foul trouble limited Simmons to just nine minutes of action in the first half, but LSU got big contributions from Tim Quarterman (21 points, 10 rebounds) and Craig Victor II (15 points, 12 rebounds). Johnny Jones' crew finished the night with three double-doubles on the score sheet after a second-half surge also resulted in Simmons notching 14 points and 10 rebounds.

For Kentucky, first-half shooting was an issue, but the biggest problem was defense. Their two big men, Marcus Lee and Alex Poythress, both fouled out, and freshman Skal Labissiere was limited to just three points on the night.
Bright spots for the Wildcats were Tyler Ulis, who collected another 23 points and six assists, and Jamal Murray, who tallied 21 points on 9-of-17 shooting.
The loss puts an end to Kentucky's 22-game winning streak against SEC teams.
