LSU Freshman Ben Simmons Has Referee Make a Strong Pass Before Free Throw
Kyle NewportJan 3, 2016
LSU star Ben Simmons is pretty adamant about being set up by a strong pass—even on free throws. On Saturday, he went to the extreme to make sure it happened.
Late in the first half against Vanderbilt, Simmons stepped to the line for a pair of free throws. Before the first attempt, the referee sent the basketball to Simmons low and slow.
