MSU G Denzel Valentine Gives Tom Izzo Game Ball After Death of Coach's Father

After his team edged Minnesota, 69-61, Saturday in Minneapolis, injured Michigan State star Denzel Valentine presented Tom Izzo with the game ball days after the death of the head coach’s 90-year-old father.

Izzo looks genuinely touched in the picture above.

Though getting a win is always satisfying, having his players honor his late father likely meant much more to the coach.
