NFL Scores Week 11: Playoff Standings, Results and Top Fantasy Performances
Brock Osweiler had to wait a long time to make his first NFL start, 57 games to be precise, but he made the most of it in leading Denver to a 17-15 road win over the Chicago Bears, snapping the team's two-game losing streak.
It was a mixed day overall for the replacement quarterbacks in Week 11. Matt Hasselbeck led Indianapolis to a win over Atlanta, while T.J. Yates took control in Houston and helped his side beat the New York Jets and keep pace with the Colts atop the AFC South.
On the other side of things, Case Keenum might have the St. Louis Rams going back to Nick Foles with a poor performance against Baltimore, while Mark Sanchez could do little to keep pace with an excellent Tampa Bay Buccaneers side in Philly's lopsided loss.
Here are the Week 11 scores, playoff standings and notable fantasy performances. Fantasy leaders are based on the ESPN.com leaderboard, with precedence given to running backs, tight ends and wide receivers over quarterbacks when the fantasy point totals are close.

Top Fantasy Players from Early-Sunday Slate
Quarterbacks: Cam Newton and Jameis Winston

The knock on Cam Newton's MVP candidacy has been his relatively unassuming stats. He has a middling completion percentage, doesn't throw a ton of touchdowns and you might have to scroll down a bit to find his QBR on ESPN.com's rankings.
Newton took some of the hot air out of that argument with his performance on Sunday, throwing for 246 yards and five touchdowns in what was arguably the best passing performance of his career.
Four of Newton's touchdown passes came in the first half. Based on his propensity for giving scoring footballs to fans, Carolina might have to up its equipment budget, via CBS Sports:
A plucky Washington side kept him throwing into the third quarter, before the Panthers finally shut down Kirk Cousins and ran away with the game.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport saw an elite performance from Newton, who faced silly, undue criticism for dancing and enjoying his job in Week 10:
While Newton clearly enjoyed himself Sunday, his display was matched by an equally ebullient Jameis Winston, who put up a nearly identical stat line in his torching of the Philadelphia secondary. He threw for 246 yards and five TDs, four of them in the first half. Two quarters were all he needed to set a record, per B/R Insights:
"With his fourth touchdown pass, Jameis Winston sets a @TBBuccaneers rookie record for most touchdown passes in a game. #TBvsPHI
— B/R Insights (@BR_Insights) November 22, 2015"
Winston one-upped fellow rookie Marcus Mariota's four-touchdown game against the New Orleans Saints a couple of weeks ago. SportsCenter noted the five TD passes tied a Bucs franchise record. This perfectly-placed fade to Mike Evans was a prime example of Winston's ability to make tough, accurate throws:
Winston only had four touchdown passes in the five games leading up to Sunday, so it was certainly a surprising afternoon for him on the gridiron. He'll surely be happy to pore over this game film on Monday, and see what he can do to keep the scoring binge going.
Wide Receiver: DeAndre Hopkins
The most obvious play in the league right now is [insert Texans QB here] chucking the ball in the general direction of DeAndre Hopkins. And yet, nobody can seem to stop it. Hopkins gets double-digit targets every single week and almost always makes good on them. Nuk reeled in five catches for 118 yards and two scores in a big Texans win over the New York Jets.
He caught a pass one-handed over Darrelle Revis, a sentence that one doesn't get to type very often. Here's the slick snag, via the NFL:
Hopkins also burned Revis for a 61-yard touchdown, which pretty much never happens, not even on blue moons. Week in and week out, Hopkins has put up big numbers with the likes of Ryan Mallett, Brian Hoyer and now T.J. Yates throwing to him. Just imagine what kind of havoc he could create with a better starting quarterback launching passes his way.
Running Back: Doug Martin

Doug Martin is running the ball like it's 2012. After a bright rookie year, Martin had two dud seasons in which he averaged less than four yards per carry. He has returned to form this season and racked up a season high 235 yards on 27 carries Sunday to nicely complement Winston's brilliant efforts.
SportsCenter pointed out nobody has run for more than 230 yards since, well, the last time Martin did it:
The fact that Martin put up his big total at the same time as Winston without the two of them hooking up in the passing game is a testament not only to the Bucs' execution, but just how poor of a game Philadelphia's defense had.
Martin picked up 117 yards in the first half alone. Eighty-four of those yards came on one long, rip-roaring run that saw the Muscle Hamster get tripped up just in front of the end zone.
Tampa Bay hasn't been a good team for much of the season, but they have the pieces in place to rapidly improve their stock. Winston is growing and learning, Martin and Charles Sims complement each other well in the backfield and sophomore wide receiver Mike Evans continues to impress. Martin has had a few low-scoring games mixed in with his better efforts, but he's a must-start in fantasy football at this point.
