Biggest Favorites in Week 11
Seattle Seahawks (-10)

The Seattle Seahawks may technically be in third place in the NFC West, but a win this week over the San Francisco 49ers coupled with a loss by the St. Louis Rams could easily situate them in second place behind the Arizona Cardinals.
While things haven't been going well for the 4-5 Seahawks this season, they're still hanging in the wild-card race, hoping that the 6-3 Green Bay Packers continue to fall, which would free up the second wild-card spot.
And of all the opponents Seattle could meet in Week 11, San Francisco has to be a welcome sight. There are no guarantees in this league, however, and Seattle's problems do not make the team immune to an upset.
"This season is this week," Seattle coach Pete Carroll said Monday after his team fell to division rival Arizona in prime time on Sunday night, per Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times.
He's right about that: The pressure is on for Seattle, who could fall too far behind in the wild-card race if it falls to 4-6 this week.
Getting linebacker Bruce Irvin and receiver Paul Richardson back for this week's game would certainly help Seattle's cause, but there's no word yet on whether either player will return.
Though Seattle lost to Arizona in Week 10, it wasn't by much: just seven points. The team will need Russell Wilson to be more accurate against San Francisco and rusher Marshawn Lynch to come into the game healthy and ready to go.
New England Patriots (-7.5)

The Patriots won against the New York Giants by the skin of their teeth Sunday, as kicker Stephen Gostkowski secured the one-point victory late in the fourth quarter with a game-winning field goal.
It was the smallest margin of victory yet this season for the dominant 9-0 Patriots, who have blown out multiple opponents: Jacksonville (51-17), Dallas (30-6) and Miami (36-7).
Can Buffalo take a page out of the Giants' playbook and similarly challenge New England?
Tom Brady will miss receiver Julian Edelman in Week 11, who is projected to miss the remainder of the regular season but could return for the playoffs, according to the timeline NFL Network's Albert Breer shared Monday:
Brady has lost weapons multiple times over his career and has proved capable of filling the void by targeting young weapons who, in turn, rise to the occasion.
This week, those weapons could be receivers Keshawn Martin and Brandon LaFell.
Danny Amendola will likely continue to contribute from the slot, but it's an outside-the-numbers weapon that Brady really needs, especially on third down, which was Edelman's bread and butter.
New England will also rely on its defense to get the job done against Buffalo, which is fourth in the league in points allowed with 18.8 per game on average. Despite the loss of a crucial player in Edelman, this team is still solid and well-rounded and doesn't have many speed bumps on the upcoming schedule.
Carolina Panthers (-7.5)

Carolina and New England are now the only two remaining undefeated teams in the league, as both enter Week 11 at 9-0.
They also both enter as seven-and-a-half-point favorites over their respective opponents.
On paper, Carolina should be able to put away Washington easily. But the 4-5 Redskins have been a tricky team to place this season, as they blew out the New Orleans Saints, 47-14.
They'll carry that momentum into Week 11.
Carolina at least gets to host this matchup, which should go a long way. Washington has not won a single road game yet this season.
The Panthers have achieved an enviable balance on both sides of the ball: While their defense is holding opponents to an average of 19.4 points per game, the sixth-fewest in the league, their offense is scoring 28.3 points per game, third-most in the NFL.
Some have criticized Cam Newton for his perceived arrogance this season, but it's easy to see why the Panthers quarterback is feeling confident this year. Many wrote the Panthers off when they lost receiver Kelvin Benjamin for the year, but Newton and his weapons have rallied.
Newton has also taken matters into his own hands this season, with the most rushing yards of any quarterback (366).
Like the Patriots, there aren't many teams left on its schedule who could give Carolina much trouble, though the Panthers will have to face the Atlanta Falcons twice. Those games could be a potential preview of the NFC Championship Game.
