Atlanta Falcons (-4) at Tennessee Titans

The emergence of rookie quarterback Marcus Mariota has been a bright spot amid a tough 1-4 start to the season for Tennessee. But the Titans could be without him in the coming weeks.
Mariota played through a knee injury last week against Miami in what turned out to be a Grade 2 MCL sprain, according to ESPN's Chris Mortensen. The injury could keep the rookie out several games, as Bleacher Report's Jason Cole reported in the below video:
Behind an offensive line that is falling apart by way of injury and poor play from young pieces, Mariota looked doomed for much of last week's loss to Miami. Against an Atlanta Falcons defense that will get after the passer as well, incumbent backup Zach Mettenberger should struggle with pressure again.
Meanwhile, Matt Ryan and Julio Jones should get back on track after some troubles last week in New Orleans. The extended week will give the Falcons offense just the right amount of time to find the holes all over the Titans secondary.
The Falcons won't scoff at the opportunity to get their offense back on track in Nashville.
Prediction: Falcons 28, Titans 17
Oakland Raiders at San Diego Chargers (-4.5)

It's easy to count out the San Diego Chargers after a tough start to the season that includes back-to-back losses. But a closer look at those losses shows a team that is on the doorstep of contention.
Sure, the Chargers couldn't handle the Mike Vick-led Steelers a few weeks back and then fell to the Packers at Lambeau Field this weekend. But Philip Rivers threw for a whopping 500 yards in the latter game, a trend that should benefit him greatly against his next opponent.
The Oakland Raiders come to visit with a lot more confidence than they usually have, but they'll still struggle to slow down Rivers' passing attack. Oakland ranks second-to-last in the league, giving up nearly 300 yards per game passing.
The team may not be pulling its own weight, but Rivers is showing great command, and it's only a matter of time until the rest of the squad gets it together, per the Chargers on Twitter:
With Antonio Gates coming off a pair of 90-yard performances since his return to the field and Keenan Allen catching practically everything thrown at him, the Chargers will have no trouble getting up and down the field. Their scoring outburst will have this game hitting the over and the Chargers easily covering.
Prediction: Chargers 35, Raiders 27
