Gianni VerschuerenSep 2, 2015

Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus made a 54-minute return appearance during Borussia Dortmund's 1-1 draw with Hoffenheim on Sept. 23, as noted by WhoScored.com.

On Sept. 3, the Associated Press (h/t USA Today) confirmed that Reus broke the big toe in his left foot. News of his injury was originally revealed by Germany's football association on the same day.

Bundesliga blogger Clark Whitney tried to see the positive side of this latest setback, tweeting, "Hey, at least it's not his ankle this time."
