WWE NXT: Full Preview, Match Card and More for August 26
Saturday's NXT TakeOver special in Brooklyn was a huge success for the developmental brand for many reasons.
Not only did the show take place in the same arena as SummerSlam in front of a packed crowd, but it produced several highly entertaining matches.
Bayley won the women's championship, The Vaudevillains won the tag team championships, Finn Balor retained the NXT title in a great ladder match, and Apollo Crews impressed in his debut against Tye Dillinger.

To take full advantage of having the Barclays Center at its disposal, WWE also decided to tape this week's episode of NXT at the same time. Let's take a look at what's in store for Wednesday's show.
The Tag Teams
A big eight-man tag match is scheduled to take place this week featuring four tag teams. Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley will team up with Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady to take on Chad Gable, Jason Jordan, Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson.
Ryder has always been over with New York crowds, and based on their gimmick, there's a good chance the fans in Brooklyn will love Amore and Big Cass, too.
Normally, bouts like this feel crowded, but this is a great way to feature a lot of young talent in front of the biggest crowd in NXT history.
The fans in attendance last Saturday were just as energetic as the ones at Full Sail University, so we should be in store for a fun match in front of a lively audience.
The Men
The only singles match set for Wednesday will see Bull Dempsey take on Elias Sampson. This might not seem like anything special on paper, but based on the spoiler report, it should be pretty fun.
Dempsey has taken a bit of a backseat for the past several months while other talents have thrived, but it could be time for the big bruiser to get another push.
Sampson has yet to have that breakout moment in NXT, so a win over an established talent like Dempsey in front of a huge crowd would certainly do him a lot of good.
This is one of those situations where both men would benefit greatly from a victory, but it seems obvious which one will end up with his hand raised at the end.
The Women
Two women's matches were taped for this week's show. The first will be a singles contest between Eva Marie and Carmella.
Like Amore and Big Cass, Carmella will likely be cheered by the Brooklyn crowd, especially against someone who draws so much ire like Eva Marie.
New York crowds are notoriously tough on people they don't like. Eva may have put in a lot of work to improve her wrestling ability, but she hasn't had much time to show off what she learned.
Carmella hasn't competed much in recent months, and Eva is just getting back into the ring after several months of training, so a win would be just as beneficial for either one. Hopefully, they manage to put on a decent performance, because if they don't, the crowd won't go easy on them.
The main event for the evening is a Fatal 4-Way match featuring two key members of the Divas revolution and two women making waves in the NXT women's division.
Charlotte and Becky Lynch will put their partnership aside when they go up against Emma and Dana Brooke. With all the talent in this bout, it's no wonder it ended up as the main event.
Brooke and Emma have been aligned for a few months, so they will probably work together to combat Lynch and Charlotte even though this is an every woman for herself situation.
Bayley and Sasha Banks tore the house down at TakeOver, so these four talented wrestlers have a lot to live up to. If anyone is capable of meeting those high expectations, it's the women involved in this match.
Charlotte, Lynch and Emma have proved themselves on many occasions, and Brooke has shown a lot of promise since debuting earlier this year.
This isn't officially a No. 1 contenders match, but it would come as no surprise if the victor was granted a future title shot against Bayley after Banks has her obligatory rematch.
It will be fun to watch more NXT talents perform in front of the crowd that made TakeOver so much fun to watch. What are you looking forward to on this week's episode?
