NFL Players Every Fan Wants to Party with

Laura DeptaAug 25, 2015

What NFL fan wouldn't want to hang out with Rob Gronkowski? It just feels like it would be impossible not to have fun with him. The same goes for J.J. Watt—all-around NFL good guy.

But it's not just those two. There are at least 10 NFL players who would probably make the A-invite list to any fan party (you know, in pretend-land where they might actually attend).

These guys aren't all the same, but each is a fan favorite who would bring his own unique qualities to the table. The funny guy, the interesting guy, the guy who can break it down—all would be welcome.

Russell Wilson

1 of 10

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson just gives off that nice-guy vibe. He's the guy who would laugh at your jokes even if they weren't funny or give you a ride home if you needed one. He's also had a cameo in the Entourage movie, so you know he keeps good company.

Not to mention, he might bring Ciara, so, worth it.

LeSean McCoy

2 of 10

OK, the females-only party thing was not cool, but LeSean McCoy is obviously someone who likes to party. His backup party plan was hilarious, if not a little too ambitious. From his Instagram update

"I had to switch up my party strategy. So tonight I'll be inviting everyone to my back to business party. Featuring DJ @DonaldTrump on the 1's and 2's. Special invited guests @RexRyan, @chipKelly, @Rogergodell, my man Barack, oprah, Carli Llyod…"

Get all those people in a room, and pretty much anyone would want to be a part of it. At least he aimed high.

Odell Beckham Jr.

Odell Beckham is like the really cool new kid in school. He's the star of the football team, and he already hangs out with the popular crowd—you know, assuming the popular crowd includes guys like LeBron James and David Beckham.

He also recently made a pretty funny commercial for Foot Locker with his New York Giants teammate Victor Cruz. A sense of humor is key.

Aaron Rodgers

4 of 10

Aaron Rodgers' Green Bay Packers teammates might not get his jokes, according to Kevin Clark of the Wall Street Journal, but at least he tries. And apparently he likes to whip out a Princess Bride quote every now and then, which is just perfection.

Teammate Bryan Bulaga told Clark of Rodgers, "He's about as relaxed and calm in this locker room as you can get. His demeanor has an effect on us. There's never any panic in this locker room."

Sounds like the quarterback is laid-back and funny (in his own way). Plus he agreed to make these Dubsmash videos with girlfriend Olivia Munn, which are absolutely priceless.

Richard Sherman

5 of 10

Richard Sherman is a must at parties because who knows what will happen? The Seattle Seahawks cornerback is no wallflower, and interesting, opinionated conversation would be almost assured.

Plus, the man went to Stanford. If the party needs an intellectual, he's one of them.

Brandon Williams

6 of 10

Any great party needs a great dancer. Normally, that would mean Victor Cruz should get an invite, but that was before Baltimore Ravens defensive tackle Brandon Williams posted this masterpiece to Instagram.

Big man's got the moves—in full pads, too. Terrell Suggs can come, too.

Vince Wilfork

7 of 10

If you've been watching HBO's Hard Knocks, you know Houston Texans nose tackle Vince Wilfork is hilarious. In this trailer, he compares himself to Michael Jordan during a game of pickup basketball.

You also know Wilfork is funny if you saw the dad shirt he wore to a press conference or this meme he created to rib his former quarterback, Tom Brady. He seems like a guy who doesn't take himself too seriously, and that's always a fun person to have at parties.

Julian Edelman

8 of 10

New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman comes across like a guy who likes to have a good time. He did go along with the whole Pats Kentucky Derby bro weekend, after all.

Also, anyone responsible for this "Growing Pats" video being made public is someone worth hanging out with. (This too.)

J.J. Watt

9 of 10

At the risk of sounding like a hero-worshipper, J.J. Watt is sort of a perfect human. Not only is he one of the best, most intense defensive players in the NFL, but he also seems like a pretty genuine, lighthearted guy.

If he's not nailing five-foot box jumps, he's making little kids' dreams come true. If he's not dancing or playing catch with fans, he's stealing our hearts via a shared love of brunch

Check out Watt's Instagram, and then honestly say you wouldn't love to hang out with this guy for a day. You know what? He deserves the hero worship, and he's invited to all the parties.

Rob Gronkowski

10 of 10

Who else could possibly top this list? New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is the quintessential NFL party boy. He owns his own party bus, for crying out loud.

Every time you blink, there's another story about Gronk partying, Gronk rapping, Gronk making deez nuts jokes or Gronk just generally acting like the biggest frat bro in history.

Oh. He's also throwing a party cruise next February. Don't act like you don't secretly want a seat on that boat.
