J.J. Watt Completes 61-Inch Box Jump, Is Still a Terrifying Monster

Last time we checked in on J.J. Watt, he was falling off boxes and peeling small humanoids from his scapula.

Those days are over. The faultless Watt we know and expect is back in Nightcrawler form, judging by a new video apparently shot with a Razr flip phone.

The Houston Texans defensive end showed off his obscene hops again during a recent training session. Not only is he maintaining freakish form, he's improving. Somehow.

Watt’s latest video shows him completing a 61-inch box jump—a personal record.

The 6'5", 293-pound defensive end pulled the feat off without as much as a crow hop. He even tossed in a hokey pitch for Reebok at the end, because a pair of shoes with a squeezable piece of rubber is the reason he—a man the size of a bull elk—can fly.
