NHL's Predators Honor Dolly Parton with Jersey Patch on Hometown Remix Jerseys

The Nashville Predators are paying tribute to one of Music City's biggest stars during their upcoming game against the St. Louis Blues.

The Predators' Hometown Remix jerseys will feature a commemorative patch to honor Grammy-winning artist Dolly Parton, who passed away earlier this year. The patch has a navy border around a gold butterfly. The country music star often used the butterfly as a symbol following her 1974 hit "Love is Like a Butterfly."

The jerseys, which will be worn during pregame warmups, will also have "Dolly" on the nameplate above each player's number.

The jerseys will be auctioned through the Nashville Predators Foundation after the game, and all proceeds will benefit Dolly Parton's Imagination Library and the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.

Parton, a Tennessee native, won 11 Grammy Awards and three Emmy Awards while selling more than 100 records throughout her illustrious career. Her Dollywood Foundation helped deliver millions of children's books across the world.

"It is an incredible honor for us to celebrate Dolly Parton this Saturday with a specialty patch on our Hometown Remix jerseys," Nashville Predators CEO Sean Henry said. "When working on the design for our jerseys, Dolly was one of our inspirations, given her legacy and how she was a trailblazer for so many in the country music industry. We are thrilled to honor her and grateful to give back to both Monroe Carell and her Imagination Library, an organization that has and continues to support so many not only in Tennessee, but around the world."

The NHL revealed all 32 Hometown Remix jerseys on Monday. The jerseys are intended to honor something unique about each franchise, and the Predators will wear their Hometown Remix jerseys in 10 games throughout the 2026-27 season.
