NBA legend LeBron James' youngest son, Bryce James, made his college basketball debut Monday night for the fifth-ranked Arizona Wildcats.

While James got the start for Arizona, he played only six minutes and did not record a point in the Wildcats' 84-75 upset loss to the No. 22 UCLA Bruins as part of the Hall of Fame Series in Las Vegas.

The 19-year-old James' full stat line from Monday's defeat was as follows:

After redshirting last season as a freshman, James was part of Arizona's starting five on Monday, and he got off to a hot start by dishing out the assist on the Wildcats' first basket of the campaign by Ivan Kharchenkov:

Bryce is looking to follow in the footsteps of his famous father and brother, both of whom are in the NBA.

LeBron, who signed with the Philadelphia 76ers this past offseason, is the NBA's all-time leading scorer and widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time.

Bryce's older brother, Bronny James, is in the midst of his third season with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Despite putting up subpar numbers in his only collegiate season at USC, Bronny was taken by the Lakers in the second round of the 2024 NBA draft, and he made history by playing alongside his father for two seasons.

Bryce has taken a more deliberate approach than Bronny did by sitting and learning during his first college season before making his debut at the start of the 2026-27 campaign.

It was not an ideal start to the season for James or the Wildcats as a whole, but they figure to settle in with easier games against Cal Poly and Northern Arizona on tap.
