Why Triple H Can't Wait on Reigns vs. Femi at WWE WrestleMania 43

WWE Rumors Roundup👂
From the moment it looked like Big Cass was on his way back to WWE, a lot of fans wondered whether Enzo Amore would be following him.
Cass said on The Sal Licata Show (via Geno Mrosko of Cageside Seats) the general speculation "makes it way more difficult than having a clean slate."
"Especially because when news came out of me signing with WWE, it immediately got linked to him," Cass said. "'They're coming back together. They're going to be running it back together.' A lot of podcasts ran with that story, and people believed it.
"So then I come back on my own, and some people are like, 'Wait, what?' So it kind of made it a little difficult, but I think so far I've done a pretty damn good job in the situation I'm in, getting booed out of buildings, which is really the goal."
Enzo and Cass were a popular tag team during their NXT run, and that momentum carried over when they debuted on Raw in 2016. Neither enjoyed as much success as a singles wrestler following their breakup, and Cass' tenure in All Elite Wrestling was fine without being too memorable.
It seemed reasonable to suggest a reunion between Big Cass and Enzo would serve both well. That obviously hasn't happened, though the idea continues to linger.
Bayley's WWE Future Remains Unclear
Bayley's contract with WWE inches toward its conclusion later this year, and she's still keeping her cards close to the vest.
Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio (via Ringside News' Steve Carrier) the four-time women's world champion doesn't appear to be headed to AEW. Staying in WWE might put a firm ceiling on what she can achieve, though.
"They're not gonna put her in the top four women's spot," Meltzer said. "Whether, you know, you could argue she deserves it. She's really good all around and all that. ... They've got her at a certain slot, and really her slot is to be one of the women to get the younger women over."
At 37, Bayley should have a lot left in the tank as a wrestler. Given everything she has achieved, she might be content to compete in some big matches but mostly elevate younger talent.
That's basically how Shawn Michaels spent the last five or six years of his Hall of Fame career.
Signing with AEW or another big promotion would allow for Bayley to freshen up her on-screen character. Instead, she could see the end of her WWE deal as an opportunity to step away from the business altogether for a bit and reset.
WWE Had Different Plans for Crown Jewel Tag Match
Bron Breakker and Austin Theory are putting the tag team titles on the line against Penta and Je'Von Evans at Crown Jewel on Saturday.
According to Meltzer (via Carrier), this wasn't the initial route WWE mapped out. The creative team had Oba Femi teaming with Penta and Evans to take on Breakker, Theory and fellow Vision member Bronson Reed.
Now, neither Femi nor Reed has a scheduled role for Crown Jewel. Meltzer posited WWE could wind up reviving the six-man tag plan by wrapping Femi and/or Reed into the title bout somehow. Reed could interfere, with Femi arriving to even up the odds.
WWE appears to be be banking on scarcity enhancing Femi's character, and there might be something to that. That's how a lot of wrestlers deemed to be an "attraction" are booked.
Creative is leaning hard into the strategy when Femi is absent on a premium live event.
