It's UFC 333 fight day, and because the card goes down in Abu Dhabi, it will kick of bright and early for fight fans in North America—10:00 am ET, to be exact!
The card will be topped by a pair of title fights, which should go down sometime in the mid to late afternoon. The main event will be contested at featherweight, with legendary champion Alexander Volkanovski looking for another late-career title defense at the expense of undefeated Russian grinder Movsar Evloev. The co-main event, meanwhile, will see bantamweight champ Petr Yan run it back with former champ Merab Dvalishvili in a high-stakes trilogy fight.
That's not all that's on offer. Before we get to the title fights, we'll get plenty more high-level MMA action, including a flyweight scrap between Lone'er Kavanagh and Ramazan Temirov, and a heavyweight clash between Alexander Volkov and Rizvan Kuniev—all top contenders in their divisions. The card will also feature appearances from fan favorites like Aaron Pico and Dominick Reyes, and promising prospects like Losene Keita and Abdul-Rakhman Yakhyaev.
All in all, it has the makings of a great day of MMA. Get your coffee ready, cook up some breakfast, and we'll be back around 10:00 to start our in-depth coverage of the entire event.
